I'd expect to see it displayed on the maps too. Given it's a new feature it's more likely to have defects. I'd drop the OzRunways people a line on Facebook or their website and raise this as a query or issue.
Sorry for the delays; the quickest place to get an answer is at help.ozrunways.com
AOPA requires OzRunways v4.1 or later, which you'll need to grab as a free update from the App Store first. AOPA isn't linked to a standard AIRAC 28 day data cycle, so we've bundled it in with the app (being text data, it has a small memory footprint).
You can view the entries in the 'Airports' tab, or on the map as ALA's. You need to turn them on with the vertical bar on the left edge:
If you ever have any problems with something needing a refresh, try killing the app from background (Apple's equivalent of Ctrl+Alt+del):
How to Close iPhone Apps Running in the Background
Yeah in 4+ years, we've raised prices $4 to $79 for Private/VFR and $4 for the IFR/Pro add-on.
We also don't make any money from AOPA, so when you buy that, all we get is enough to cover the credit-card transaction & bandwidth. The rest goes to supporting AOPA, so we're not totally evil.

For a hundred-odd bucks a year Ozrunways is great value.
Can't imagine anyone buys a handheld Garmin aviation GPS any more when you can get far better functionality a lot cheaper on an iPhone/iPad.

GREAT JOB on the weather feature guys
The plotting of the fronts in particular is very well implemented and all at the press of a button.
For those that haven't updated, be sure to hit the AppStore before your next flight!

I'm having trouble getting the Geo referenced map to show my position. I'm taxiing at Moorabbin and select the Aerodrome Chart Page 1 Geo'ed, however it doesn't show where I currently am on the airfield. I definitely have the blue orb selected on the map page. Any ideas?

Maybe need to turn Location Services on for Ozrunways
settings - privacy. - location services. Make sure It is turned on for Ozrunways specifically.
Hope this helps.

You might be onto something I just found "Daps Georeference Tools" was switched off in the settings section on my phone so I'll check location services and this when I get back to the plane. I'll have to start poking around further.

I have just bought an iPad
Have got a the free month trial of oz runways and it looks pretty good!
Is it possible to submit a flight plan? Can't seem to work that out
Also what is the general consensus regarding av plan vs oz runway?
Doesn't appear that they have a free trial. Just want to get the best program that can do everything.
Thanks

Avplan web site has "The AvPlan app is available from the Apple App Store. The app price is free, with a one months unrestricted free trial of all features."
For both AVPLAN ans OzRunways it is best to buy the subscription from their web site (not the App Store), and just use App Store to install the program on the iPad. That is cheaper for the purchaser.
Both are excellent. Seems to me there is little between them. AVPLAN have just been announced as one of 2 apps in shortlist for a competition at Avalon Airshow "Congrats to two apps that have been shortlisted for Aerospace Australia innovation awards: AvPlan and Jacobson Flare". OzRunways also has excellent reviews.
Long may both companies thrive as we all benefit from them competing against each other so actively.

You need to buy the NAIPS app from the Apple site to get weather and lodge flight plans.
