Don't park that fuel tanker there! Now I've heard everything

The local ATC was upset when a Jet A1 tanker was parked too close to the tower, about 30 metres away, and wanted it moved away from his office.

My office is surrounded by a lot more fuel than that

Must ring him and ask him to let us know when he is flying next so we don't go near the aircraft while he is on it.

Also, need to inform him that every time he fuels at a service station he is parked on top of more fuel and a more volatile fuel in uncontrolled circumstances.

You should have said that you'd move it as soon as you finished having your fag on the back of the truck.

Ever seen a jet fuel fire? You can't get out of the tower.
