I'm new here (Aotearoa)...
...new to NZ and the southern hemisphere that is. Freshly emigrated and therefore skint.
Does anyone have any out of date VNCs they wish to part with? I'm after anything covering the North Island in the 1:250,000 scale - for familiarisation purposes only! It'll be a while before the missus lets me go spend the hard-earned on aviation, however I thought it might be a good idea to get back up to speed with flight planning and local features before I go back to flight skool
On that note - any recommendations for a FTO in the Auckland area? Any I should be wary of?
