210 hours

210 hours

Just about to finish my cpl can anyone recommend how many 210 hours would Be a good idea to acquire 10,15,20?

The more the merrier, obviously, but I know a whole bunch of people that had around 10-15 after their CPL training and it did them a whole lot of good.

Call or visit a couple of operators that you hope to work for and speak to their chief pilot's. Ask their advice on obtaining some initial C210 experience. You will find that some operators will have varying minimum experience requirements pertaining to their insurance policies.

If you then go ahead and log a few hours in a C210 you can follow it up with a resume and a visit to the chief pilots you spoke to.
