Counter-rotation, all of the nurses at Meeka are month on, month off. Two of the Hedland nurses are.

There are no FIFO pilots. There were two at Meeka awhile back, one left for a job over east and the other went full time JT.

Fit a door to the PIG and they'd be fine, if your scared of hitting a roo do some other job, King Airs's don't come off so good after a roo strike either. Just fence the strips as is the current trend.

Edit: The King would still have to be my first preference and 350's for a bit extra pace and range/payload is just fantastic.

Jandakot to Brisbane. The op could only be carried out in MEL or BNE, and BNE was selected.

SN,
I saw the Pig on the news, which appeared to be at the end of the mission, but read in the paper the following day that the RIO jet had done it. And I meant Chariot as in..well the old Valiant

Any more news on the Pig trial?

Wondering if they are as good as the manufacturers claim. They took ages to catch on overseas but when they did they opened up a niche. Are they going to here as well?

Wondering how they are loading as well? Without the cargo door are they using the same system as QLD section or does the trial time frame preclude such mods?

Who does one contact in RFDS WA about possible apprenticeships?

Having completed all the exams (both Mech and Avionics) looking for way into the industry. RFDS would I think be a really good option as big enough to be serious but still small enough for a person not to be just a number.

Cheers
