CASR91 Rewrite, What's In It?

I'm curious about the soon to be published rewrite of CASR91. Anyone know whats in it?

Two of the key proposals intrigue me:

- "Strict control of personal electronic devices"

I have a funny feeling I'm going to be asked to disable the GPS in my iPhone. God help you if you are caught with an iPad!

- "Requirement for the pilot to plan to arrive with a specified minimum amount of fuel; "

Since I always plan to arrive everywhere with tanks overflowing, and have never once bit into a reserve, I can't fathom what this means except CASA dipping my tanks on arrival and examining my flight and fuel planning.

Sunfish,
In short, 250 ( Yes!! 250, not 25) pages of Strict Liability Offenses.
All we can reasonably predict is that it will be a "very difficult" document to use.
Tootle pip!!
