Some opportunity! This is a real revolving door outfit. There's lots of folks who wouldn't be too surprised if the encumbents were unaware of their impending replacement. The place seems to be run by layers of "decision makers" with little commercial sense and a lack of people management skills. Understand the non-military bit is also not looking real good after its recent "We're here to save the world" re-shuffle.

Management once told the staff during an eba talk that monkeys could do the job that went down real well with staff.
Now the apes are in the HR Department.
Understand Daher is also a shambles.

Eurocopter New Zealand is part of this company and my contact in the region tells me that they have the same shambles down there. Eurocopter in Australia and New Zealand were great companies a few years back with such high standards. What happened? When I asked this question some weeks back Ned commented that it was just the global finance cr@p but it may be there is more than what meets the eye.

Although I think the MRH-90s are poorly built overall, I still believe the Aussie built aircraft would still be of better quality than the French NH-90s.
Just curious to hear what you're basing that on?

Having spoken to the Navy pilots that embarked on the FOCFT in December last year, I was told otherwise.

. . . run by the French ?

The present Australian Aerospace chief is Jens Goennemann who replaced Guisepppe Saporito. Neither sounds particularly French but you're right about the shambles. It's just going from bad to worse.

Saporito was French and make no mistake, Eurocopter pulls the strings at AA, the Australians are given a very short leash, and the French pull the strings at Eurocopter.

Question

I see the company is looking for simulator operators at Oakey. Anyone have any idea what kind of money (Roughly) these jobs pay ? And any other helpful advise.

If you are going to post anything negative about the company, don't bother posting anything please.

Thanks in advance.
