Comeroo Camel Station..
Flew out to Comeroo Camel station over easter, bloody brilliant. Bruce is a character (go mustering cattle with him in his XP, brown trouser time!) and his wife Chris is awesome at looking after you. We also flew up to Hungerford for a pub lunch, good stuff. Lots of flooding out that way though, lots of water!
Recommend you drop in if you get a chance!

Ditto!
Was there last month. Went a-mustering with Bruce, visited his trap museum and woke to find frogs in the loo.
Who knew so much fun could be had so close to Bourke?

Had a good time at Comeroo in 2005 - Chris and Bruce are great hosts!
Got a great feed and spent some time relaxing in the artesian spa gazing at the stars.
Would like to get back there one day! Would definately recommend it to anyone wanting to take a trip somewhere different. The strip was in good condition when I was there.

Another fan here. The outdoor spa is great, although pretty hot! Open fire, good food, cold beer and plenty of hospitality. Do they still have the mad cockatoo?
Good hosts and a great stopover when exploring western NSW/QLD!!

Strip was long (1000m) red and dry, although the windsock was a little lacking.
Go for it!

And, yeps, they still have the mad swearing cockatoo.

The Mad cockatoo!!
Yep, he's still there. (or her), throwing tea spoons at people.
The strip is in good nick, no problems for a landing, wind sock etc is there and seems to work fine.
Great few days spent with great hosts!

Was there a few years ago on a hunting trip. Had a great time, I still haven't seen a patch of grass as green as the one at the back of Bruce's. He's very proud of it and rightly so! Collection of traps is also very impressive. Would love to fly up there next time.
