The pilots know nothing about chemtrails. There is no reason for them to know. The chemicals are released automatically when the aircraft is within a pre-programmed "box" of airspace, at or above a given altitude.
I always thought it was the engineers that replenished the chemtrail tanks who were the real culprits in this dastardly scheme. But, apparently, they too are quite ignorant of the whole thing.

More power to Mike Glynn for engaging with them. I often tell him he's thumping his head against a particularly hard brick wall. There is no test possible that would convince these people that it's simply condensation.
My personal favourite from peekay is that clouds don't happen at 35'000 feet. I've often wanted to take photos of cirrus out over the pacific but I'm sure they'd explain that away as chemtrail testing, residual chemtrails from previous flights, etc.

Conspiracy theories seem to be the flavour of the 21st century.
There's a strongly politically bipartisan approach to conspiracy theories too. Sure, some particular ones are unique to the Left or the Right, but whichever side they originate from, most of them are equally nutty. They also cross age and gender boundaries.
But I have to admit that "chemtrails" is one of the weirder ones.

Let me guess 18W, the video was photoshopped or similar? Didn't realise that you and Mike were tag teaming on their website. I know that Mike engages with them via the book of face on a semi regular basis which is where I see most of their inanities.
I tried posting on their youtube service once. Message not approved. It appears that in their search for 'truth' that dissenting voices are not appreciated. I guess it's because we're either part of the conspiracy or not as smart as them.

Halo spectacle shines in western Qld skies

Ice crystals in the upper atmosphere have caused a halo to appear around the sun in central-west Queensland.
The weather bureau says it is not an uncommon phenomenon to see a ring around the sun when there is high cloud about.
Forecaster Rick Threlfall says the effect is due to ice crystals in the high cloud over the region.
"Mainly in the cirrus clouds ... around about eight to 10 kilometres high up in the atmosphere," he said.
"Those ice crystals just tend to ... refract the light and split it up into the colours that you see in the halo."
He says the halo could be visible for the rest of today.
