Fratemate, my wife says the same thing to me and wishes she could upgrade to a newer 300 model with more length and longer endurance, but it's all a compromise between economy, comfort, performance, capacity, load and handling that matter in the end. I tell her that at her age, the longer endurance just means that she'll get a sore back from the additional time in the cockpit. And besides, any longer than an hour in any cockpit becomes tedious. As an illustration, a little aerobatic piece doesn't have the size of the bigger brethen but will absolutely blow her socks off for pure excitement and exhilaration. As for the longer fuselage; this is easily explained away. I tell her that I'm sure she's handled large fuselages before and despite the initial delight, the subsequent performance is often a major letdown as it becomes clear that they are less stable than their shorter cousins and are more likely to suffer from fatigue issues.
