Co-pilot time isn't halved any more. That's something that we used to do.... Kind of like Celestial Navigation....

It really doesn't matter much now in Aus. With part 61 ATPL flight test requirements upon us the only way you're going to get your Aus ATPL is to be an F/O in the process of a command upgrade. By then, you will 100% have all the night you need.

smiling monkey, I meant that to unfreeze ATPL license you have to have 1500 TT, 500 in MultiCrew. It also says 100 FFS sim time can be used towards that. But I don't know if they mean towards 1500TT or/and also towards 500MCC.I have 400hours Jet multi-crew time and I would like to unfreeze my license during recurrent, but don't know if I can meet 500h MCC requirement. Hope i explained better.

You could leave it in the sun? It you need it quickly, put it in the microwave for 30 seconds, or a container full of hot water?

artlite,
Take no notice of the dills who don't understand what you are talking about, there is no concept of a frozen ATPL/ALTP in AU.

As for changes in CASR Part 61 for logging hours, most of the changes are to line up with ICAO Annex I.

All Australia has to do now to comply with Annex I in this regard, without differences, is drop all the anal BS about AICUS, which would be to the very great benefit of all younger pilots at the beginning of their careers.
Tootle pip!!
