Flying Schools at Moorabbin?

Hi guys,

Can any southern folk recommend a flying school at Moorabbin for a CPL?

I was told Bini's & MFS are good. Did my TIF with MFS, they seem like a good bunch.

Any clues?

Try Oasis Flight Training.

Simon

Most of the PPL /CPL can be done in RAA Jabiru's and that will be cheaper than any piper/cessna.

A second nod for MFT Melbourne Flight Training

Hi

I finished off my CPL last week, and found the CPL test pretty straight forward thanks to the great training at MFT. They have a very experienced staff, decent planes, and Glenn makes things happen.

I flew with Nick and Rhino. Cameron runs the instructor rating course, and he has a wealth of experience, so thats my next plan.

Very satisfied...

Have had a good look at MFS over the years, paid for the son's PPL so wanted to be sure I got good value for money. (Bit of an involvement myself in aviation so I was well aware of what to look for.)

Found them to be very professional and always acting in the student's interests. Fleet was being upgraded at the time also.

I understand that, subsequent to when I was taking the keen interest, there's been a bit of turnover of staff (like most places) due to the lure of an airline job or a decent twin job somehwere. However the CFI and the owner remain the same, as do some of the older instructors, so it's a reasonable assumption that the same philosophy prevails and only some of the faces have changed.

Did I get my money's worth? Most definitely so.

I would say for the early stuff go with the other comments here but come the CIR, you must go and see Steve Pearce at Bini's.

Took this outside MFS on Saturday. At least you know the minimum cost that you will be up for.

Aaah, the old RAA chestnut, comes up every couple of months!
