Qf Tso Course Start Dates

Hey everyone!!
I have heard the following QF TSO course start dates for 2007:

400 courses starting 22nd oct, 19th nov, 12th dec and possibly 2/3 330 courses starting on the friday prior t these dates

Wondering if anyone else has information on dates for early 2008
Cheers

I heard because of the A330 crew rest issue for LAX-AKL trips they may be training more classic SO's

6 weeks from letter of intent to employ to "the call". I believe the criminal history checks take a month or so. Then they check your references last.

Cheers,

TSO courses

Calls going out in 2 weeks for Nov courses. No allocations as yet for nov courses. Dec and Jan courses are on the cards for those that miss Nov' start.

Back to post #1 about A330 courses - it'll be interesting to see if the delay of the first 787s for Jetstar and the resultant delay in return of the Buses to mainline will alter the Airbus training program in mainline going forward - does anyone know what the effects will be in mainline?

Overall I guess the Classic guys will be Hajj and Perth bound for a bit longer now?

Quick question pruners.

After an interview and sim ride received a letter explaining that I am still on active consideration.... your file may progress after Feb 2008... you are therefore invited to send in an update at this time via the website...

Paraphrased slightly as I don't have the letter with me but does this constitute being put on a hold file??

Or Commiserations,
judging by the pessimistic tone on some of these pages.

The hold file is much more temporary now then it used to be.

Active consideration is a good thing!
