No I think that was the Av-West's Westwind before they sold it to someone in Victoria.

Volitation,

As you said, must be an exiting and rewarding job.

What happens when the novelty wears off, opportunities come knocking, and people discover they would like a life outside of a dark shoulder to shoulder cockpit?

I ask these questions, because I cannot believe that with everything going on in the game these days, the management are still only paying award, and apparently not doing all they can to retain an obviously highly specialised and skilled pilot group.

I am willing to be corrected, but what sort of money is a Westwind driver on?

My friend is a captain there and he says they are screaming for fresh blood....just like Rex allegedly......

So It is worth a try by putting in a resume and following up with a call even if you dont have much twin time...... they wont look at you if your a newbie so don't try unless you know someone in there.

Just a reply to the original post.

As current on Pel Air's web sit:

Minimum Aircrew Employment Requirements
ATPL
2000 Hours Aeronautical Experience
500 Hours Pilot in Command on Multi Engine aircraft under IFR
Command Instrument Rating Multi Engine

I think that means 500 multi is required.

So that's ML as in Melbourne? Interesting, wouldn't mind finding out about that and how easy it is to organize the commuting bit. Do they need any DEC's on the Westwind?? Just wondering... Thanks
