Their problem is....

I'm talking about the turboprop operators.

I know of quite a number of pilots in companys like Hardys, Skytrans et al... Who have on the plus side of 500ME command, even in excess of 1000ME command.

Each one I've spoken to does not even want to CONSIDER going to REX, because there is either a pay cut, or not much difference in pay. All for the expense of going to the trouble of learning a completely new aircraft, hauling the wife/kids/life to a different town.

I think REX just doesn't understand that pilots want a life. Stick together lads.

Does everyone feel my drift? I'm sure if they had a 40% payrise, the applications would start flowing in.

(Did I say Payrise, oops! )

It's not just turboprop operators!

It seems nobody, not airlines, not regionals, not charter operators, not flying schools, nobody seems to value their staff!

As soon as somebody, anybody, starts to treat staff with respect and realise that they need to have a lifestyle along with their career, I am sure they will be flooded with applicants...

Ahh, Utopia would be a nice place to visit!
