Morno It came from the east and a welcome sight it was too!! 
No idea how old it is, didn't check. It has a Hawkers big door and appears to have a sliding, pneumatic loading system which was a bit labour intensive.
Lasiorhinus. If PC Plod is correct in assuming the sequence of events, you have a very strong car!!! It belongs to the insurance company now, but they don't seem interested in it. You wanna buy a few spares?
Peter Fanelli. It had a pressed steel fuel tank. Look at the back end, left side damage. I think the back end bottomed out as it went through the table drain, fracturing the fuel tank.
This car bottomed out very hard. It pushed the wheel up into the wheel wells. I found one rear coil spring over 200 meters away.

If the spares are of a colour and shape to match your wife's ex-car, I think I'll pass. Anyone know of anywhere to service cars in Broome? Might need a bit of looking over once I get there.

The PC12 has a very good door system which makes stretcher loading easy, and also has a crew door so the pilot does not have to scramble over the patient to get up front.

Would anyone have a decent photo of Beech 65-A80 VH-FDR, which was the immediate predecessor equipment to the RFDS Mt Isa B65-B80 that I flew there in 1979-81?

RFDS B65-A80's
Thanks to Jamair and Tailwheel.
The weblink showing 'FDR's prang is known to me. The two pics showing 'FDS & 'FDZ were good to see. The hangar shot at Mt Isa of 'FDS is mine and that of 'FDZ at BDV reminded me of my endorsement training (& later trips) in this very bird. I had 'FDS at Mt Isa for a month whilst my regular mount 'CRF was in BN on maintenance.
Last time I was at the BDV races was flying an Essendon-based DC-3 in September 1982.
The pics that I'm looking for show 'FDR (ex-'TGD) in the basic TAA livery but with RFDS titles.
