Angel Airlines Png

I think I know you SHAGGS, a nice young man if I am right.
I agree only the best pilots fly for ANG and I must say they have more respect for their pilots than do most of the employers in Australia these days.
See you in January in PNG SHAGGS (if I am correct)

The way the industry is going in Oz and NZ, your better off staying there rather than sign a deal to come up here. Work visas are taking up to 8 months to process!!

Can anyone give me some indication of the salaries being paid to Airlines PNG FO's and captains? I'm an old PNG pilot, been out of the scene and in Oz for a bit, and trying to figure out if it would be worthwhile heading back there.

P.N.G. Work Visas

The processing period is expanding for Y generation expats, the latitude and the attitude don't go together.

PNG flying

Well said RB..
Why come up to PNG when the industry down south is at its best..

Unless of course you're coming to experience flying like you would never get down south then you've taken the first step..
On the flip side some say 3yrs is enough PNG time, as some of your procedural flying gets rusty and you get laxed in general...IMHO i think they might be right

some food for thought for those thinking of coming up

Does anyone know how the float of the company went, did they get the funds to buy a 737? Will dash 8 crew have a chance to upgrade to the 737 if they get it?

The float went well, APNG is now on the POMSOX They didnt sell all the share as they wanted to but I heard its was enough to look at 2 B733 and more dash8s. No the B733 plans is now on hold since their is another big fish in the bond(DJ), which is one more too many so I guess they are playing it smart, since they cant compete with the big boys they have to join one of them. That was the plan to promote from within dash crew until G.B at the last minute put out a memo that rules out 99.9% of the dash crew from operating the B733.... I guess G.B already picked his own boys from overseas he! he! he! poor dash boys, most of these boys have already crossed over to Pixie or sitting on the fence thinking about it

Things didnt change.
Dash8 drivers moved on as predicted
GB walked & did similar thing at another company and moved on again.
APNG cut a deal with VB on code share
And the share price followed QAN down down
