King Airs In Oz?
Gday all,
Was just wondering if someone could give me a bit of info on any reputable B200 operators on the East Coast or there abouts. Have 150hrs PIC on type but low TT and looking to head back home to OZ. I know this thread will not interest too many so apologies in advance. PM me if you would prefer.
cheers

King Airs
If you are going to Sydney, Clamback & Hennesy was operating the B200 and was doing endorsements on it. Not sure about work though.
Qld, NT or WA would still be your best bet for work on these beauties.
Cheers

I think Aeropearl are still running a couple out of brissy, not sure though. You'll be hard pressed with low TT and only 150 on type to land yourself a gig on the east coast. Mind you, I hear they're looking for Airmed pilots in DRW.
Had a scroll through all the aircraft on the register and I doubt that you will get a King Air job with low Total Time.
Pearl want 500 multi + turbine and at least 1500TT
RFDS (will vary section to section) want 500 ME 200 Night Remote Area Night experience, 2500Total etc etc
People in Perth want 500 ME command with 1500 to 2000 hours.
Corporate jobs tend to be filled by people with high total time and type experience. Queensland government looks for co pilots occassionally which might be an opening for you. However they are co pilot jobs only as captains are advertised seperately.

Hi,
This probably isn't much help, but worth mentioning nevertheless. I was at Canberra airport and I saw a Beech King Air parked outside Coorporate Air. I think they mostly fly Navajos, but the Kingair may have been a recent acquisition.

To be blunt, with your hours you will find it impossible to gain King Air command on the east coast of Aus. Client requirements alone will rule you out.
Lots of King Air drivers about and very few aircraft.
On the east coast for charter about 7 ( CS 2 MA 1 BN 1 TWB 1 SY 1 ML 1 ) with 1 maybe 2 B350's.
