as you can see i just pasted the youtube video link.
Im not interested in pasting the URL, I am interested in having the video embedded in a forum post

To embed a youtube video probably involves Danny adding new BBCode in the Admin CP
I have seen others able to embed videos from youtube on other threads on PPRuNe so it can be done, which is why I popped the question ... I'll keep hunting for the solution anyway ...

Is anyone else of the opinion (and everyone has one here!), that this thread has been hijacked somewhat.

More photos, less brow beating...

Sorry. I don't have any photos!

Please continue...

Agreed. Some of the fruit of my labors in the last few weeks.

'tis truly amazing how many washers, nuts, bits of lock wire, cotter pins and, previously blocked, drain holes you find in the bottom of a fuselage when you clean 38 odd years worth of grime out of them.

Since I have personally run into a screw falling from an aircraft above, I'd believe it.

VH-MEP, Jun 11 1986, Over Ardrossan.

Result...hole in windshield and buggered prop blade.

Aircraft that dropped the screw was a Tobago from AFTS.

Some forums embed the youtube onto the thread, the code is eg. It embeds the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTWOk6slU_Y so you see it just like an embedded photo so you can play the video from here without being redirected to youtube. It looks like this;

IPBoard can do it, not sure about vBulletin (these forums)

OK, the usual: what, where, etc; some more cryptic than others.

Last one is Hell Gate bridge New York, which we decided to copy for our own coathanger in Sydney...

DI-yep, that's the easy one, though I am not sure the history of the coathanger... is there a reason we ended up with that design? Perhaps it was the same builder, or maybe it was a kit? I wonder if it qualified for the 51% rule... see, it all fits into aviation forum if you really want it to...
