From a recent trip overseas

This one should be too easy to guess.
Long bridges

Bit of light drizzle?

Happy days.

Hi J430,
Shots are from a flight down to Key West (KEYW) in Florida..
Did a US trip in a 152 in July, ended up flying from Orlando, down to Keywest, Up through Atlanta, Illinois to Minnesota - then across to Michigan, - back down to Peoria, Illinois, then to Akron, Ohio, to Niagra Falls, then back to Orlando via Greensboro.. Was about 54 hours in 9 days , but am already getting withdrawl symptoms again
A good link that you can see where we went is at: US Trip - Great Circle

Somewhere in WA

No idea, but I know whose plane you took the photo in. A C310 perhaps?

The other KAL?

TQ,

Despite the fact you're in a Goldfields aircraft, would that be the other "Kal" - Kalbarri?

You would be correct. That's the mouth of the Murchison coming into view.

Unfortunately we don't get to see the ocean very often.

J430...a C310 indeed.

But....it could have been a 402B, or a C340!

I'm sure a psychologist would be able to explain it, but the GAS thing put me right off trying to think what was on the South coast that being the more likely destination.

Kalbarri did pop into my head but it didn't "fit" my "preconception" .

Been going there since 1959 (as a kid in our family Austin A70) when the road was a goat track and you could routinely pull 10lb Tailer out of the channel mouth off Chinamans Rock and eat your fill off Oyster Reef.

Rolling out on final, Rumdoodle. (Screenshot from my video). Black dots L to lower R is a moraine line of rocks, moving along slowly as the ice sheet flows by.

Gaunty, were you thinking Esperance before the 'GAS thing' started messing with your mind?

There is something there! There's a black dot just under the "Fang" (the black isolated peak top right). That black dot is a Hagglunds (tracked oversnow vehicle) two quad bikes and some 44's of AVTUR (ATK).
