To all those that have replied to this thread thankyou very much, we have seen some really good piccies whilst keeping a lighter side to prune, keep the interesting photos coming. Heres a few more of mine.

This is Shute Harbour, one of my favourite aviation memories landing here. A really good approach, requires an oblique final until about 200' when you get clear of that mountain and kick her round to land.

This was about 20 minutes after we landed, sitting at the bar having a very cold frothy watching the Air Whitsunday flight line fill up. Very cool airport. Ahhh, good memories.

Makes me thirsty. JB

Great Strip at YSHR. Dropped in there up and back to Cairns last week, and interesting to see they plan to seal it and add a taxiiway on both sides.

Friendly bunch and a good cafe and bar.

How about this one; not far outside Australia. I guarantee someone here knows where it's from and no, it's not the island from Lost.

Nice work, that took like 2 minutes for someone to work out. Was taken from 13,500ft.

Please, Please, Please............

On Page two of this thread, when pictures up to 250 kb had been posted, I asked that picture file sizes be limited to 100 KB maximum, 640 x 480 pixels.

Since then pictures in excess of 400 kb have been posted, which are not only a total waste of band width, but are impossible to see.

Hello, Hello? Anyone home??? Read my posts on Page 2 - if you still don't know how to limit picture size, PM or email Woomera before you post.

Unfortunately, pictures that exceed reasonable size will be removed.
