Current Hiring Situation at US Regionals (Covid19 - summer 2020)
Can anybody comment on above question? I believe it'll take at least a year until things are back to "normal" and the Regionals resume hiring again.
Since I currently live abroad, how about the CFI situation at flight schools in the States? Are some schools still hiring instructors? I guess most of those instructors who made it to a Regional just prior the Covid19 pandemic returned to their previous school and instruct again? I think business is pretty slow at the flight schools in the US right now, especially at the big pilot mills with a lot a foreign students? |
T2000,
We can only speculate about the future even near term. Hard to say where the regional refugees will go when furloughed. While most of them may have instructed at some point, I doubt there will be enough CFI spots available to accommodate large numbers of them. These are tough, uncertain times. I just feel bad for all the people who'll be affected. |
