Blackbird Air Ride Sharing
Anyone in the U.S. have any experience with Blackbird Air out of California. They claim to bring passengers, GA pilot and airplanes together to create inexpensive ride-sharing services on the passenger's schedule.

You peaked my curiosity. How is this operated 135 or 91? Looks like Uber, anyone can fly their personal plane for compensation.

Found it. They are doing dry lease agreement. Pilot requirement's are 500 TT with 200 PIC and an instrument. |
That's what I'm trying to figure out. These seem to me like they would be charters, but I guess not.

Still sounds odd to me. They're saying it's not a charter and that the passenger that rents the airplane has operational control of the flight, not the pilot. Can't imagine how a passenger would understand anything about this.

It will make it easier to move undocumented pharmaceuticals through the state. I wonder what kind of back ground checks are done if any. |
