The whole idea seemed to me a solution in search of a problem. To take nearly a decade to launch a whopping 4-ship operation, and then only by buying an EAS provider shows a general lack of focus. I think even in the midst of the most severe pilot shortage, they should have been able to staff four airplanes, so it seems to me the given excuse is not entirely truthful. Perhaps a general lack of a business plan on the part of the nearly centenarian CEO is more to blame.
