Part 107 sUAS for Part 61 holders - BFR
Hi all,
Currently going through the online course for Part 107 on the FAA Safety website. With regard to the requirement that Part 61 holders have a current flight review in order to be eligible for the online course (instead of the UAG written exam), is the BFR a precondition for the course, or for certificate issue? In other words, if the course is completed (certificate printed) on July 1, the BFR completed on July 2, and the applicant goes to the DPE/CFI on July 3, is that acceptable? 6.4.2 Applicants with Part 61 Certificates Instead of the process described above, a person who holds a part 61 pilot certificate, except a student pilot certificate, and has completed a flight review within the previous 24 calendar-months may elect to apply using the following process:

I would read that as if you are a current pilot (with regards to the flight review and not 90 day currency) then you can take the online course and drone on. It says (1) If you hold a pilot certificate above the the student level and (2) if you have completed a FR in the past 24 months THEN you can use the online course to get the drone certificate.
