CAA certified examiners in Texas
My EASA SEP (A) rating has expired.
I have the FAA endorsement and a valid medical but I need to renew my rating. Does anyone know of any EASA certified examiners in Texas, who could renew my rating? Or do I need to go to AAA in California? The list of approved EASA schools which the CAA used to have on their website no longer exists. Thanks, Audrey |
Well you could do it with an Examiner from any EASA member State .
You are not limited to an UK CAA Examiner. |
Your choices are Florida or California. There are no examiners in Texas that I know of.
All overseas ATO are now under EASA oversight, not CAA oversight. The list you are looking for is found here: https://www.easa.europa.eu/system/fi...ed%29.DNO_.pdf |
You can continue to fly on a 61.75 foreign based certificate after the rating on the underlying licence has lapsed so long as the licence itself is still valid and you have a current flight review.
When you next need to exercise EASA licence privileges, you can take an LPC with an EASA examiner at that time |
