Caribbean B738 fuel emergency 1 Apr 14
This interesting 'rumour' came up on AvHerald: A Caribbean Airlines B738 out of Port of Spain for Toronto, some 250 nm E of Norfolk at FL380, apparently was able to supply fuel from only one tank, leaving it with 5000 lbs / 80 minutes available. Successful landing at Norfolk 70 minutes later. (Flight BW800, 1 Apr)

methinks that 'fuel imbalance' would have shown up somewhat earlier in the sector. Especially on the 1st April ...

It is on the Aviation Herald now, so I do not think it is a prank: Incident: Caribbean B738 over Atlantic on Apr 1st 2014, fuel emergency

At least ORF (where the girls neither drink, nor smoke, nor folk) got an unusual visitor.
