Flight schools in Austin

Some advice please.... we're wanting to come over and do the FAA ATPL in Austin, Tx - can anyone give us some guidance about which flight schools we should consider...and those which we should avoid?

Would apprciate your assistance. Looking to come over in Feb 2010 - would this be a good time to do flight training - weather wise?
