Nam Veterans
I'm a Nam vet, I lfew F4s back in 72. Any other nam vets out there my shrink told me i should talk about it to relieve the pain. i was in the 101st airbourne division my callsign was crabman. I'd like to hear from anyone who was in the Nam
|
would you be open to a conversation with someone who almost went there but it shutdown just before i had to go?
could benefit myself and my children and whoever else i know to have your viewpoint. think about it. |
I was based in ChelteNham for a while.
Does that count? |
Mr Crabtree
Something doesnt quite sound right here, the 101st Airborne was a US Army division and the only aircraft they flew were helos ( hueys, etc...to ferry the grunts around) Now, how the hell can you fly F4's for the 101st when the only people flying them in nam were the US Navy and US Air Force? Me thinks you are lying! |
Dear Mr Crabman,
When I was there the 101st were an airborne infantry unit that did not operate any aircraft, let alone an F4! And further more it is only Hollywood that calls it "Nam" Cheers, James |
It's a wind up. Have a look at his profile. Probably does need to see a shrink though if this is his idea of humour.

I too was in nam 72, we didn't fight the enemy we fought ourselves, and the enemy wasn't us it was them, i feel i have a duty to teach those today about what happened and hope some good come come out of it.
