Anybody know any good US 737 sim schools for type rating /ATP practical test ?

Morning folks ,

I have a UK JAA ATPL and loads of P1 time on 737s ( currently NGs ) and need to acquire a FAA ATP with 737 TRating.
Can anybody recommend a SIM training establishment in the USA where I can do the joint ATP / Type rating Practical test without doing the whole type-rating course ?

Much obliged.

I just completed my 737 type at Higher Power Aviation in Fort Worth, Tx. They are a very good establishment. The link to them is www.jetcrew.com

simcenter in Florida (Miami) has a 737 program for 5700 US dollars.

I Second the opinion for www.jetcrew.com. They are good people with a lot of experience. I have several buddies there and they will not disappoint.

Pan Am Academy in Miami has a 737 type with the ground school home study course with a really competitive price. You can get everything done in one shot. ATP and type.

Thanks again

Thanks again Gents.
The Jetcrew/HPA option appears the best as it offers NG/BBJ simulators whereas Panamacademy does not.

Take care up there

Pan Am has the NG option in Miami as well.

Panam ?

Thanks Mike737
Just that there is no mention whatsoever of NG on Panams website.
Will email them anyway.

Why pay extra to do the type in an NG?

kotakota 18th Apr 2007 08:17

NG

I figure that I might be able to do less simulator sessions on my current type than on the efis which I have not flown for over a year . Just saving on one session would make it financially sensible.
