JetBlue recruiting non-fliers
Couldn't really find a pigeon hole for this info so I'll just put it here...posted elsewhere by a JB training guy (I think he's a training guy). Jetblue hard up for pilots ? Well, they've got a funny way of showing it if they are:
The competitive times change based on every application window. Here are some stats from applicants hired so far this year.
Average Flight Time of New Hire: 5,804
Average Flight Time last 12 Months: 550
Percentage of New Hires:
Regional: 59%
Military: 21%
Non-Sched Ops: 15%
Other Major: 5%
I would say between 4k-5k total time for civilians, around 3k for military. Recommendations help and see recruiters at a job fair.
