Rubloff acquisition of Ryan Int'l

Anyone have any idea what Rubloff Jet Express plans to do with Ryan International Airlines now that they've acquired a majority stake? A new LCC seems the obvious thing but what routes? What a/c?

He'll be back

Yeah, I guess he sold a majority stake but I understand that operations will continue to be run from Wichita. He'll probably buy it back in a few years for pennies on the dollar and pick up right where he left off.

Yeah I hear ya. They all seem to come back for more. Usually they bankrupt it first though. I worked for him for all of 11 months, up till Fed X took over the post offiice. It just paid the bills but, was better than nothing. Did mostly sport hawk charters but only flew 240 hrs in the 11 months.

Wasn't Ryan in the process of adding MD80's to the fleet ? Also, what became of all his 727 crews ?
