Norwegian Air Shuttle

Hi guys, I'm an italian 737 F/O. I just want to kindly ask you some information about Norwegian AS. What about the working shift, salaries, environment and the overall economic situation of the airline?

Thank you so much

Thank you Nick.
That's what I imagined....as I can't speak any scandi language. I tried, just to know :E. Thanks again :ok:

I do speak a Scandinavian language and would like to hear if anyone can answer the questions?

FO/turboprop/2200hrs - possibly looking for a job in Norwegian.

I think you need several contacts, i`ve been on file there for 1,5 years now with recommendation and have not heard a thing:ouch:

Some people I've talked to suggest that luck is pretty crucial there. One guy I know is a brilliant pilot, is in the holding pool of another major Scandinavian airline, and knows 7 captains in Norwegian. He got the type rating, and has his 1000+ hours, but still – no word. Official requirements are high, but the actual requirements are apparently somewhat lower..

It appears that the bar has been raised to a level where it is only up to circumstances (or luck) whether one gets a flying job or not. Amazing. No, not really..

Does anyone have more information than rumours?

I'll like to know if it's possible to live in Aalborg, Denmark while working for Norwegian. It's not a base, but there are several daily flights to Copenhagen.

Diper: Nope, Air Greenland Dash 7.
