Visiting Bergen, Norway!
 

Any of you Norwegian guys/gals who could recommend a B&B or Guest house in or around Bergen? Staying for 4-5 nights and need a "base camp" to store some of our kit and put our heads down when not out on the kayak... Found lots of nice-enough looking places on the web but difficult to tell which one is best value for money. Another thing is I/we have never been before so difficult to know which area would be best for us.

Do you want to stay downtown close to the pubs? Or in the outskirts closer to nature, for hiking and stuff? And what do want to use the kayak for?

If you are staying downtown, everything is only a 5 minute walk anyway, so location's not very important.
