Transjet - Grounded!?

Swedish Tv just reporting this.

Details, anyone?

LN-MOW 10th Jul 2002 05:30

Jepp ... Fra svenskaflygbolag.com:

''Luftfartsinspektionen
stoppar Transjet [020709]

På grund av konstaterade brister i Transjet
Airways organisation och verksamhet har
Luftfartsinspektionen beslutat att företaget
måste genomföra ett omfattande åtgärds-
program för att få fortsätta sin verksamhet.

Under tiden åtgärderna vidtas får
Transjet inte bedriva någon form
av kommersiell flygverksamhet.

Från Sverige berörs Transjet flygningar från
Arlanda till Athen/Thessaloniki och Malaga, som
Transjet flyger för researrangören Aer Olympic.

Transjet flyger även charter från bl.a.
Storbritannien, med flera MD-83.

Transjet opererar med tre Boeing 747-200
SE-RBH, SE-RBN & SE-RBP samt fem MD-83
SE-RBI, SE-RBL, SE-RBR, SE-RBS & SE-RBT.''

Men i motsetning til Owe Petterson får iallefall Thomas Johanson flyene i luften. I en stund ..... AirOps MkII.

Canofwhoopass 11th Jul 2002 10:09

Well thank you Hudson Gay,
if there are any more threads where you might want to spread you crap please let me know and I'll help you look. There still might be one or two more threads in the whole of PPRuNe where you haven't writen just that!

Bengt Engel 11th Jul 2002 10:27

couldn't agree more with canofwhoopass....

Bengt Engel 13th Jul 2002 07:05

CAA to make their decision on wednesday.

ArcticCircle 13th Jul 2002 17:10

Hudson Bay,

I guess you`re one of these europeans from the UK who do not want europeans to fly and operate in Europe. You`re behind the development curve. Way behind
Do not count on your day being made; TJ can be back within days, flying out of some european airports in England ;)

Techman 13th Jul 2002 18:06

Before anybody else joins in on the lynching of Hudson Bay, you might want to do a search of his previous posts.

I think that you will find that he has a pretty good reason for being less than happy with TransJet.

Knold 14th Jul 2002 10:46

Yeerss....

But I thinkt the point Canofwhoopass:) was making was just that. Everywhere on PPRuNE he had posted the same stuff!

Sod'im! I say!

ArcticCircle 14th Jul 2002 11:22

Techman,

The following from HudsonBay:

Bunch of tossers you spoilt my holiday!!! But made my day!!!
gives me no reason to search his other posts

Techman 14th Jul 2002 14:21

Well, ignorance is bliss........as they say.

Isn't it about time that Mr. Johansson is barred from any involvement with airline management.

ArcticCircle 14th Jul 2002 14:32

Techman,

Isn't it about time that Mr. Johansson is barred from any involvement with airline management.
Q: Mr. Johansson, who (and I am not trying to be funny)

Techman 14th Jul 2002 14:52

But you are.:D :D

TheMagus 14th Jul 2002 16:46

Thomas Johansson...
He has started a number of airlines in the past 15 years or so. He is a lot better at starting them than keeping them running.

He started Transwede which became Blue Scandinavia and then became part of Britannia.
He started Air Ops and Sunwing (or whatever it was called) and an airline or two in the middle east.

A very creative fellow but not really very good att keeping things going. Whether he is a crook or not I will leave up to others to judge as I don't know the man myself.

ArcticCircle 14th Jul 2002 18:05

Techman,

You cannot be barred from any involvement with airline managment. Correct me if I`m wrong, but you can be barred from holding a legal position within a company. Do you think TJ is holding a legal position in Transjet? I don`t think he does.

LN-MOW 15th Jul 2002 05:20

Well ... at least TJ gets 'em flying ... contrary to his countryman Owe Petterson .... (Gothia, MyAir(?)) -----

MyAir is anyway a mystery .. they claim PBAir of Thailand will operate for them ... however PBAir is denying any involvement ---

Bengt Engel 18th Jul 2002 23:43

Knold 21st Jul 2002 10:59
