Announcements Norwegian

Hey guys,

can anybody help me doing my announcements in norwegian? Would really appreciate any help by looking over mine and correcting it.

Cheerio and thanks in advance!

Why would you want to? Most Norwegians are fully capable of understanding announcements in English.

I know that. Most Germans are also capable of understanding anouncements in english, still i do them in german as well. i study scand. studies and just have fun learning/speaking other languages.

see it as a service for the passenger ;-)

I would say if you are fluent,go for it. Otherwise it is a not so enjoyable experience for the pax to listen to a pilot going through announcements in their language and sounding like a third grader.
I have sat in the back on my own airline (AA) and watched the pax reactions when some pilot is hacking away in bad Spanish or Portuguese. Most just shaking their heads and hoping he would shut up.

Fluent: yeah, norwegian is pretty much straight forward for us germans. been on it for over a year now.
i'm just looking for somebody who is willing to go over it for me.

:ugh::ugh::ugh:Comeon, fluent, is that like when yall say "hej do" on the radio when you check in...

no, most definitely not.... just attending courses won't help but if you actually do more than that (reading newspapers, radio, television) speaking more or less fluent is possible within a year. at least enough for announcements

but bravo on your post. helped a lot thanks. :D
