Braathens to take over SAS EWR routes.
According to unconfirmed sources Braathens will take over SAS flights to EWR that was cancelled last fall.
Braathens will operate 3 of SAS` B767 that will be faced out due to the renewal program of its own fleet. (A330-A340). SAS has had problems selling the aircrafts after the serious decline in the industry. The operation is expected to start june 15. with SAS crews. Braathens will then gradually take over as a result of a joint venture training project. SAS/Braathens has announced a press conference april 3. which probably will contain information on this subject. |
