Air Iceland Dash-8

I am Dash-8 type rated Canadian pilot with a lot of Northern experience. Is it worth for me to aply for Air Iceland? Are they hiring foreign pilots?

No, sorry, to my knowledge they have never hired a foreigner. But in addition to that they have been laying off a lot of pilots, so there is a long line of type rated pilots waiting to get back in with them.

You might want to try Flybe in the UK. Don`t know of they`re hiring, but they are one of the largest Q400 operators around. Denimair in the Netherlands also fly the Dash8, but again, I don`t know if they`re hiring. You`ll need a JAA license in any case.

Without "work permit" ie married to EU citizen or EU passport etc no chance for work inside EU I'm afraid.
