Need some help with Euro options...

Hey guys, I`m about half way through my CPL training in Australia, and all going well i`ll have my Australian CPL + MECIR in 4 months - with about 200 hours.

I can get a Britsh passport as my Dad is english, and some have mentioned to looking into getting my JAA licence over here as there are a few courses I can do over here for that. My options are: pay Aus 32k + for a twin-turboprop Command Endorsement, and fly with a regional airline (offer has been made available to me,flying In Australia), or I heard that airlines over in europe do the same sort of thing, and with that kind of money I could do a Jet TR + the JAA ground school or am I just kidding myself. It`s just that if I spend this kind of severe-debt inducing money I want it to be 100% worthwhile and as such I`m very confused about it all as I`ve been told so many different things....
any thoughts are greatly appreciated :)

I'm not sure why you are posting this on the Nordic forum, if you are eyeing Scandinavia then it's the right place.

In my humble opinion avoid paying for TRs unless it is utterly necessary, and if you do always have a guaranteed job available. If you must part with your money, $32000AUD (about 20000EUR) will not buy a type rating and a license conversion in Europe. For an example RyanAir charges 25000-30000EUR + extras for B737 TR; turboprop TRs are not considerably cheaper.

With literally thousands of unemployed wannabes, the market in Europe is very competitive. I would gather as much of experience as possible before coming here. You mentioned your prospect flying a TP, use it! Three or so years of turboprop will make your CV standout especially if it has multicrew hours. The old saying goes: never turn down your first job!
