Does anybody have any info on Norwegian?

Are they hiring?
Requirements and/or competitive requirements?

As long as this last link says “Vi har ingen ledige pilotstillinger i øyeblikket.” - your CV will end up in the bin I’m afraid. :{
In order to be amongst the more competitive, you will need a type rating on the 737 with at least 1300 hours on the type, or at least the same experience-level on a similar aircraft type (MD-80/B757 etc.) I encourage those who are interested to look at www.ppjn.com for further updates. That being said, we have also hired quite a few first officers with no experience on type with only a valid type rating (having typically being bought here):

Looking at your profile (unless any changes lately) you first need to look into getting your JAA ticket (that alone may feel like a full time job.....). Airlines in Norway seldom accepts US tickets, and if they do, it has to to with extensive adequate background, and only if they can't find anyone else locally.

To my knowledge Norwegian are hiring these days. Several SASBraathens pilots has been interviewed lately - among others. Good luck!
