This thread reminds me of a quote from Pulp Fiction:

"Let's not s..k each other's d..ks just yet..."

Bengt Engel 11th Apr 2005 17:31

Techman 11th Apr 2005 23:17

Yes RTO, I suppose it must be difficult for you out there in the real world, where people don't have a hillbilly accents or play banjos.

For a good laugh try get a swede to say 'Charlie'.

Hotel Charlie 12th Apr 2005 08:39

While we´re at it Techman, let him (the swede) try to say yellow without it becomming a dessert :-)

JJflyer 12th Apr 2005 14:23

Now that we ar at it...

... Danish is like Swedish spoken by someone who's sustained major brain damage

:p JJ

Timilu 12th Apr 2005 16:52

Or ask him if he wants you to go via Charlie or Juliet, and have an even bigger laugh! argghhhhh, gotta stop agreeing so much with Techman:p :p
RTO it´s Push and Staaaart, not the other way around. Just shows you don´t get out (of Fleksnes country) enough!

Well, I guess we all have our favourites.

Our fellow norwegian aviators surely make me smile every time they read back "RWY tyyy - tyyy left" in CPH, or when reading back the "fjyyyl" figures on the CUT. :E

"Va heter egentlig fjyyyl på engelsk??" :ouch: :}

And the best part is, that I'm absolutely sure they feel the same way, when I open my mouth on the various frequencies.

Best regards

Flathatter 14th Apr 2005 10:39

What, you mean like "tu-tu-left"?
