Blue 1 and the final battle

Well I quess the quys and gals of Blue-1 had finally eunough of their nabor management. Its make you wonder how different branches of SAS have such a different salary structure.

I think it would be fair for Blue-1 people to earn the same money as their counterparts in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Rumour says Blue-1 pilots work almost for free considering the company standard.

Well I quess the main offive in Sweden whats to have a lowcost airline in the finnish market. One way to decrease the difference is to lower salaries in Sweden, Norway and Denmark to make it a big Lowcost Family operation:) Or they could stand up for you guys in order to make it happen.

Anyway all the best for you in Blue-1 and this time dont you guys and gals just bendover and smile-again

:ok:

what I've heard B1 have a higher cost per passenger than the mother airline....with no salaries....strange....

Costs, if those are really that high are probably due to the 4 engine, over-engineered, slow, uneconomical disaster. However salaries in Finland in all fields including aviation are lower than rest of the northern countries... Hopefully the no overtime policy will bring the management into the negotiation table. If not next step I hear will be a warning of an impending strike or should it be called " Labour action" to be more PC.

Blue1 Contract negotiations

So any news on the negotiation front??? If I understand correctly you are not flying overtime at the mom and have some sort of a deal with stand-by days as well?
