CLOUD999; yes it is. In general one can say that of all the money a company pays for you, you will cash half. The rest is social tax normally paid by the company, and income tax paid by the individual.
What NLH is offering, you also have to pay the social fees, why you'll cash only about SEK 42,000 of the about 86,000 NLH (Rishworth) pays you.
One can also make the comparison if you would have been paid a "normal" salary (where NLH would have paid the social taxes), then you would make about SEK 65,000 gross (about € 7,500) and SEK 42,000 net (about €4,900).
I really can't see how NLH benefit from this setup regarding the pilots. It is not much more expensive to employ in Scandinavia, if one expects the same net salary. The only thing left out in this calculation is of course the pension contribution by the company, job security, vacation according to Swedish law and many other things...

Nuances tend to get lost here. What I should have emphasized is that the only pilots who make money at NAS are the ones that hold shares.
Years ago while Mr. Kjos was struggling a bit, some of the original guys took a paycut and in return received shares in the company. Smart move, the share price has skyrocketed since and they made out like bandits. Unfortunately those same guys ever since have had a vested interest in all of Mr. Kjos´ efforts in screwing everybody else, as their gain from rising stock prices outweighs any benefit they might get from an improvement in terms and conditions. They have no interest in a strong union, will never strike, and actually benefit from their non-share holding colleagues´ crappy contracts.

What will be the next destinations, from where to where?
During Q1 2014 they will receive 4 aircraft, number 4-7, so I guess the decisons must have already been made. The 8th aircraft comes early 2015.
RIO, EZE, CPT, HKG, LAX, HKT or DEL? What ya think?
