Route development the cause of illegal migration ? - According to the EU
So, it seems route development.. that thing that keeps commercial aviation going, is being 'blamed' for illegal migration..

TK have a very niche route network in some areas, and I've found them extremely convenient to get from London to several cities, mainly in the former USSR, avoiding a stop in Moscow which for me would require a transit visa if not moving onwards to Russia.
It'll probably be inevitable that any non-EU airline operating to/from Africa, especially in a country where a visa is easy to obtain would be a target IME, and it's also inevitable that Turkish would be one of the larger targets, purely due to the size of the network it has. It wouldn't surprise me if Pegasus were also supposedly involved somewhere, again due to their network.
