But I bet they can spell it correctly.

Green Flash 25th October 2007 21:38

Ah, yes! - But after a few bottles of Glencoe Organic Wild Oat Stout? But thanks anyway.:O

soddim 25th October 2007 22:45

I have to tell you that does not compare with the topless marshalling on the line at Luke Air Force Base back in 1976 when the female lineys were making a point about their male counterparts going t-shirtless.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh! 25th October 2007 23:56

...but the trouble was that the proficient ones could point you in two separate directions.

The Helpful Stacker 26th October 2007 00:51

Lineys with morale, you'd never see that in the RAF.;)

Saintsman 26th October 2007 10:14

I hope that with all the fun they were having they remembered to take out the 'Remove before Flight' flags.

cornish-stormrider 26th October 2007 10:34

I thought the yanks did that just before the end of the runway??
I could be wrong though, it's not unheard of

The Helpful Stacker 26th October 2007 10:38

I thought the yanks did that just before the end of the runway??
They must be bloody fast runners those yank lineys.

Oh you mean the other end.;)

SHow Me The Link!

Soddim,

Is there a UTube link to those ladies?

Mark Nine 26th October 2007 15:29

How do you think they will explain acting like tw*ts at the subsequent B.O.I.?

MostlyHarmless 26th October 2007 15:58

Aw c'mon Mk9 - where's the harm? Not like it was night and in a confined space is it?!

monkeybumhead 27th October 2007 12:34

Good god, I'm pretty sure none of those signals comply with STANAG 3117FS. I don't know, cowboy marshallers. Flight safety isn't a joke don't you know.

Now if that had been RAF lads I'm sure the morale police would have been round quick as you like to stamp out any fun.

soddim 27th October 2007 15:51

Alas, LJR, all that is left is the memory - taxying was very slow that day I can assure you.
