October desktop calendar

What a grand idea. Can someone tell me how to put the calendar on a fot, or if there is a free program or interweb site thingy which allows it.
Cheers. |
Al
After your question I played about with PhotoShop and it was a simple matter of drawing a text box on a photo and writing whatever you wanted in the text box. Appreciate not everybody has PS but I'm sure that Coral Draw must be very similar. Two minutes' work to turn a photo in a calender wallpaper. |
Cheers. I've got PS, but I'm a luddite and let other people use it! I shall though, take a deep breath and get stuck in.
Thanks for taking the time to investigate. a |
Al R,
Glad that you like the calendar: it's a monthly feature on Rotorheads, easy to download, and if you have a suitable photo that we can use, please let me know :ok: If you are familiar with PS, I use layers to construct the calendar, not text boxes. Create the calendar/dates, and the logos, then drag and position accordingly, flatten image, then save as a .jpg. |
Cheers John.
My work is mainly automotive I'm afraid, but I look after a few forums so it'd be a nice feature to offer. How do you present the files as 'ready to download'? Text boxes and layers cause my brain to implode. I know how to do a few things on PS, and I'll have to focus hard to diversify my skills. The Kodak feature offered as standard costs wonga, so thats out. Here are a few shots that I'd like to adapt. http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n.../IMG_5252a.jpg http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n...1/IMG_4996.jpg http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n...8aug07040a.jpg |
