Attacker Crash
Are there any aircrew of the Naval persuasion who know anymore about
this accident?.The aircraft ,from I believe 1833 sqn.RNVR,was doing DDLs at Honily airfield, under shot on approach hit a field and the crossed a road killing 2 boys who were watching the landing, this happened in late 1954 or 1955. My interest in this accident?,one of the boys was my childhood best friend. My parents emigrated with our family to Canada in April 1954, for which I am eternally grateful, had they not I would have undoubtably been standing along side of him. Regards |
