Still flying with multiple sclerosis?

Would be delighted to hear from any service pilots still flying after MS diagnosis. I'm ex 737/KingAir/JetRanger driver diagnosed in Feb 1997 but allowed to return to flying duties (with minor restrictions) after 9 month period in remission. CAA medic dept were totally supportive!

There is a book by Anthony "Bugs" Bendell called "Never in Anger". He was diagnosed with mutiple sclerosis during his RAF flying career.

Fantastic book, really enjoyed it.

You may find it interesting.

Does anybody know if Anthony Bendell posts on this site?

Still Flying With MS

Thanks so much Stonca. Have read the book... his symptoms more serious and progressive... but a very touching account. And well done to the RAF for their support too! Mel
