Lithuania & Latvia & EstoniaCountries

Hi
Is this threat by Putin making the Baltic countries next in line to attack?
As they are in NATO would he be pushing his luck.
I have the Chance to get some limb Surgery with an Organisation that has a fantastic reputation.
What I do not want to do is walk into a war Zone

If Putin invades a Baltic State I suspect you will already be in a war zone without the need to walk into one.

Yes I do understand if I was in Lithuania I would be in a war Zone.Different to being in the UK if Vlad attacks the Baltic States as Nato are we not doing Air Patrols over these countries as a prevention.
It is funny I thought you would be the one to reply.

I have some contact with the area in question. Their medics are first class, don't be deterred.

B Fraser, Thank you for your reply most helpful.

I believe there is a complication in that Lithuania allows Russia access to the Baltic via their country so the first step would be for Lithuania to block that access.
Personally I find Poland offers medical treatment for a similar price.

Note to self, try not to be so predictable! I only meant that an attack on any NATO country is an attack on all, so the UK would be at war with Putin (and the rest of the benighted Russian population). He has to believe that, or we are back to the last maniac who had similar 'pieceful' ideas (albeit invading the opposite way). I agree with B Fraser, if you are all arranged then go ahead and get fixed up there. It would also be a gesture of solidarity, which they will appreciate. Good luck!

In the highly unlikely event that you have to radically change your plans for the return trip, jump on the ferry to Helsinki or Stockholm and fly on from there.

Thank you for your suggestion if it all goes wrong.
But I am sure everything will be fine.

I have no knowledge of the organisation you plan to see or what you are having done but I would advise caution with tourism for surgery. Standards are variable. They may be excellent or not.
Things I have seen range from OK to awful to expensive sham surgery.
