Perhaps English is not your first language. I was attempting to discuss how the aircraft ended up in the position it started from. This was BEFORE information was available as to the nature of the take off. There were therefore a couple of possibilities:

Firstly, the aircraft had departed earlier and then joined up to fly through as a formation.
Secondly, that they had just become airbourne as part of a formation take off.

What I ACTUALLY said was "To my eye the aircraft looked way too low energy to have got airbourne then joined up to fly through. Had that been the case then a zoom climb to force landing or at least a higher ejection would probably have ensued."

So I was essentially implying that it was most likely to have been a formation take off!

I am well aware of the performace capabilities of military aircraft!

If you’re not aware, there are many ironies in your post!

Absolutely correct. Polls and petitions driven by social media collectives. I wonder how many of those shouting for a ban on displays own a dog.
You are for more likely to get killed by a dog than an out of control aircraft.

This accident is a most unfortunate event.

Re traffic lights, Coningsby has them on the public roads at either end. I often see vehicles ignore them and they just drive on through. General iphone spotters will wander into the approach and climbout lanes, the real enthusiasts do tend to stay away from those areas but that matters not. If it goes wrong, i'd be just as concerned as to where the seat was coming down than any aircraft.

The difference is that the pilot of that aircraft chose to stay in the jet so he could point it where it would do the least damage. Just sayin'.....
RIP Capt Kuss

didn’t want to say it...but you read in my mind ! Imagine living with that in mind !

Fifty years ago my friend Giles ejected from a Buccaneer when it ran out of fuel (faulty jettison valve) while downwind for RNAY Sydenham. Observer Ricky left a split second before Giles, who aimed for open parkland but pulled the handle when the nose pitched up and all control was lost. He landed on a garage roof and smashed his elbow, the Bucc landed in level attitude along an office wall no more than 100 metres away. Nobody was hurt although the director at his desk was rather surprised when his window was replaced by a Bucc cockpit. We reckoned Giles escaped with less than three seconds to go.
Ricky's seat landed in Grand Parade, about 400 metres away. The elderly driver of a Morris Minor braked sharply on its arrival, receiving such a shock that he had to be taken to hospital. As SWB notes, Martin-Baker's finest is a hefty chunk of metal to descend from the heavens.

The local population tend to be known to have extra finger cells and lack of brain cells. The only county that posts road deaths year on year on red noticr boards by the roadside.
